1.1. Introduction:
Data: Data is raw facts which can be stored and recorded. The
data consist of facts such as text, graphics, images, video and audio segments
which gives more meaning to the user environment.
Ex. S.No,
Name, marks, address . . .
Information: Information is processed data. Information
helps to improve the knowledge of a person who is using the data.
Ex: Vinod is 20 years old .
Data Base: A database is a collection of interrelated data for
an organization.
Ex: College Database, Aadhar Database etc

Management System: A database management system (DBMS) is a
collection of programs that enables users to create and maintain a database.
The DBMS is hence a general-purpose software system that facilitates the
processes of defining, constructing, manipulating, and sharing databases
among various users and applications.
